As promised the picture of V's new shorties. These were made with a heavily modified version of sheepy pants to get the perfect fit for V. These were knit with Mosaic Moon Rowan's yarn colorway on Targhee. I really enjoyed knitting with this yarn it is so soft and squishy and I think it will hold up to what V can dish out. The waist is enclosed drawstring, I think most of our woolies will be knit with this now it is the best of both worlds smooth like an elastic waist but I can cinch it in and tie it to keep her from taking them off. I finished the bottom with some open lacework. If you follow my blog I knit this same colorway in merino from Mosaic Moon about 2 weeks ago and it looks totally different!

A close-up of the open lacework when they are on -- it shows up much better against skin and I really like it. Very simple but adds just a touch of special.

I finished the Tara soaker and Tara capris -- here they are just before I washed and lanolized them. If the weather stays nice (dry and sunny) these should be dry and ready to ship by Thursday! The newborn soaker is so cute and tiny!

Both legs on the Tara capris are finished -- tonight I just have the graft the gusset, weave ends and do the elastic waistband. Once I have that done on these I will begin a matching newborn soaker. Oh and the legs aren't uneven it is just how they are laying and because the gusset has not be grafted yet.

Here is last nights progress on the TIG Tara capris. I have one more short row to put in and then I start the gussett hopefully I will be ready to split for the legs tonight! V is usually absolutely amazed by my yarn but this yarn is different she is obessed with it, I've had to put my knitting up in a closet to keep her away if my knitting bag it out and she sees this yarn she comes on over and grabs the skein and pets it (that it why it is so straggly looking). I may need to get her this colorway :)

Here is the picture of the Mosaic Moon shorties just before I packed them up to ship out -- they went to the Post Office today!

Everything has been going a bit slower than normal the last few days. The girls have been sick and I have been sick so instead of staying up to knit like I normally do I've been going to bed early. We all seem to be feeling better today which is a relief. Anyway on to knitting progress, I cast on the TIG Tara capri's 2 days ago but didn't make much progress as you can see. These will have an elastic waist so the start of them looks a bit different than the drawstring waist woolies I normally post. The yarn is striping beautifully though and the colors are so nice together -- there will be a lot more progress on these now that we are all feeling better!

The Mosaic Moon shorties will be shipping today as well -- picture to follow soon I just need to thread the drawstring through.

The Mosaic Moon shorites are almost done. The legs are finished and tomorrow I just need to graft the gusset, weave ends and make the drawstring. These will definately be drying from being washed and lanolied tomorrow and will be ready to ship mid to late next week!
The ruffled capris shipped out on Saturday and I totally forgot to take a final picture -- which is a shame they came out very cute! Hopefully the mama I sent them to can grab a picture for me.

This is yesterdays progress on the Mosaic Moon Rowan's Yarn shorties. I am working now on getting the body to not pool as bad as it was. I will post another picture tomorrow morning!

The ruffled capris are finished. I am working on getting them washed and lanolized right now (the drawstring is done as well I just thread that through after the capris and drawstring are dry). This picture shows them without the ends weaved yet.

I received yarn for my next customs. First is a skein of 3ply Uruguay Merino from Mosaic Moon in the Rowan's Yarn colorway. If this look familiar it is because a month ago I bought the same colorway in targhee that I plan to turn into capri's for V. So needless to say I am very excited to knit this yarn up and get a preview of Viv's capris.

And yarn for another set of customs -- this is Three Irish Girls colorway Tara on Cary's BFL. The colors are just gorgeous and I can't wait to knit this one up as well!

Still raining today so no outside picture. I did manage to get a better picture of the colors tonight though. This is knitting up beautifully the colors are so nice, and I am very happy that it doesn't seem to want to pool yet. I am heading to bed now (early night for me, but both girls were up at 3am and never really went back to bed last night) but tomorrow I plan to split for the legs and start working away on getting these done. Hopefully these will be done by the end of this weekend!

I finished the Georgia Rose Peace Fleece shorties for Viv (well mostly I am still deciding on the color of the drawstring and if I want to do any extra embellishments on them (not sure what but they look like they need something on one leg to me). These have a crocheted scalloped leg finish.

I also received a skein of yarn today for a pair of custom shorties. This is dyed by Over the Moon on Paton's Merino the colorway is Melonberry Fusion. The color looks really off here my flash did funny things to these colors. I plan to take a picture tomorrow out on the deck if the sun is out, the colors are very pretty and I want to do them justice.

No yarn in the mail today -- so V's shorties are almost done. I just need to graft the gusset, do the leg finish I am planning (crocheted scallops), weave ends and do the drawstring. I plan on finishing these tomorrow!

As promised a quick picture of the Georgia Rose Peace Fleeces peddle pushers for V. I am hoping I can finish these up tomorrow while the girls are having quiet time -- V is in desperate need of shorties.

I finished the calisto longies on Sunday and they are all dry and ready to ship. These are a board short length and they came out very cute (or at least I think so)

I am working slowly on a pair of peddle pushers for Viv in Peace Fleece the color is Georgia Rose -- I will post a picture later on tonight. I will work on those until the yarn arrives for my next custom.
