Ready for Summer!

The first pair of peace fleece shorties are done and will ship tomorrow (if I can dig out of the almost 2 feet of snow we got last night/this morning).

I began the waistband for a pair of newborn longies -- not much to show though :) When I get the main colorway and begin the body I will be sure to post pictures.

Check out the new logo and banner! Many thanks to BabyVanity for the wonderful work she did.

Yarn, yarn everywhere

And there should be more arriving! On Thursday I recieved a whole box of peace fleece to knit some custom shorties. The timing was great as I had just finished the magyar capris and am presently in stall mode on joining the legs for Viv's capris/pants (mostly because I can't decide what length I want them or what finish I want to do).

So onto the needles went Baghadad Blue

And my gallery picture of the finished magyar capri's with ruffles

I have plenty of customs lined up to keep me busy for a bit. I have the big box o' peace fleece plus some more peace fleece that should be arriving for another pair of shorties, some yarn arriving for a pair of newborn/small customs, and some acrylic coming for a pair of longies.

Oh and I have recently ordered some peace fleece for myself (and a few skiens to post for semi-customs), Purwewool in calypso and Talia, TIG in the Gwendolyn colorway, and some WWbN in Finnegan and Bouquet for longies next fall. So soon I will be swimming in yarn :)

Ruffle goodness

I finished the Magyar capris and they came out very nice. They should ship later on this week:

Knittin' fool

The Magyar capris are almost done -- I was hoping to finish them tonight, but no word yet on the ruffle style. They will be finished tomorrow and hopefully hanging on the drying rack tomorrow night!

UFO no longer :)

So I had this peace fleece yarn that I used kool-aid to dye back in July/August I started knitting with it in October and for some reason started a pair of capris (not sure why as I live in Maine and Ocotober generally isn't capri weather). So I knit this for a bit and then abandoned them for other projects all winter. I finally finished them the other day (all they needed was a drawstring for about 3 weeks now). So here is V in her new capris -- I am pretty happy with how the yarn came out and can't wait to get some proffesional dye and try my hand at some more vibrant colors.

I have been working this week on a custom pair of capris for trade (a very nice mama traded her graphic design services for knitting -- so I will finally have a nice logo). These are purewool in magyar with matching trim. Oh and excuse the back
ground I was knitting while futzing on the computer -- my normal nightly routine.

And a purewool in colribi II that has become my new UFO (un finished object) I think these may become capris. I just can't decide so I have been stalling on working on these. Luckily V has plenty of woolies so I can take my time with these.

Been busy!

This computer takes forever to upload pictures so I have not been posting here as often as I should. Doesn't mean I haven't been busy. Three longies are done and I have two pairs on the sticks.

I finished the Magyar pair for V

And another crocheted pair for V done in Ella Rae Classic prints -- I've never worked with this yarn before. I did find that it split frequently but for now these longies seem to be holding up well

These will be shipping today. A semi-custom pair done in the Otono Fantasia colorway by purewool.

If I get a chance I will snap pictures of the two pairs on the sticks and post those tonight.
